Glatton Becky to win the Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough on 11th April
The Grade A1 420 metres flat race is to get staged at Peterborough on Wednesday, 11th April. The lineup comprises of Pretty Bonnie, Astrum, Tullymurry Pop, Masada Scolari, Chico Sweet and Glatton Becky.
The strongest candidate on the lineup is Glatton Becky, Bexhill Eoin’s three-year-old brindle daughter out of b***h Southoe Queen. She started the career with a sixth position and the ended fourth in the next start. As if avenging the losses, she stretched
on the victories to four.
It started off with a Grade A3 420 metres flat race on 25th January at Peterborough which she settled in 25.95 seconds while being entered as the evening’s favourite. The runner up of the race was Slaneyside Flash while reserving the third slot
behind the winner was Rubain Jane.
She then bagged the second victory in a Grade A2 420 metres flat race on 3rd February by getting hold of the track in 25.63 seconds. The 6/4 favourite of the race led the runner up, Knockrour Boom, by a mere neck’s difference as he finished the
race in 25.65 seconds.
Settling into the third slot was Houdinis Lad.
Winning a straight third time and striking a hat trick, Glatton Becky won a Grade A1 420 metres flat race on 10th February at Peterborough. Morgans Duke was the runner up of the race while Unique Boher finished the race third behind the winner.
The 6/4 favourite of the race, Conna Rock, parked fourth.
She stretched the hat trick and ended up winning a fourth race in a row.
On 17th February, Glatton Becky won a Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough by covering the track distance in 25.37 seconds and leaving the runner up of the race, Ballybunion Ace, adrift b y 3 ¾ length.
Parking into the third slot behind the winner was Crack Out Flo.
She remained winless in the next three starts and then won the Grade A1 Morgie 10th Birthday Stakes on 17th March at Peterborough by clocking the track distance in 25.68 seconds. Qualifying as the runner up was Cloncunny Peach and leaping
on for the third position was Grafton Mr Moon.
On 4th April, she won a Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough by clocking the distance in 27.11 seconds. Finishing the closest was the 4/5 favourite of the race Killacolla Posh.
