Glazed Hamsters Eyes?

Question

My friend has a hamster and its eyes are like glazed over kindof blue-ish like changing the color of its eyes. Thats wat she said, i was wondering wat that means...?

It might be that the hamster is blind. If the hamster is pretty old this is a strong possibility. it is not likley that its eyes are changing colors. also if the bedding she uses is dusty it may be an infection. the best bet would be to call you vet.

Your friend could try human eye drops, because it helps a little.

He could be a unique hamster mabey..possibly blind. Its hard to tell with animals that small, surf the internet for sites that may help. If he has sawdust bedding then he couldve gotten sawdust in its eye and and it couldve clouded over. This could seriously do damage to its eye I suggest you guys get it to a vet ASAP.
