The National Basketball Association (NBA) has locked its players over labour unrest with the Player’s Association while this shutdown in the league is giving vital time to all the interested teams which are planning to sign Glen
Davis for their future seasons. On the other hand no one knows as how long this lockout will prevail in the league. The Players Association and the league owners are still showing no progress to resolve this serious issue.
Glen Davis, who has almost spent four years in the league, knows the tough environment of the league and how to survive in this tough competitive environment. Many title contender teams are seriously thinking over his inclusion
into their teams including the Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets, and the Denver Nuggets.
Davis, with huge presence on court, can be lethal for any opponent. His defensive and offensive abilities have always impressed many and provided him the appreciation. Throughout his professional basketball career he has remained
persistence in his performance and never showed any loop holes in his game. He made his NBA debut in 2007 when the Seattle Super Sonics drafted him 35th overall in the first round of 2007 NBA Draft and immediately traded him to the Boston Celtics.
Before entering into the biggest basketball league in the world, Davis also had a very successful college career in which he acclaimed early appreciation form many basketball experts. He studied at the Louisiana State University
and played with Louisiana State Tigers.

The Boston Celtics would likely to keep Glen Davis for their upcoming seasons. Glen Davis, who had most recently played for the Celtics in the 2010-2011 seasons, certainly showed some great performances and proved his place. After
coming into the Celtics’ roster, Davis played consistently and produced his best game on every crucial moment for his team.
The Celtics management was also impressed with his performance when they gave him three years extension in his contract in 2009. Now, since his contract has expired with the Celtics, Davis is a potential free agent who could be
going anywhere in the league.
Many basketball expert and inside league sources have speculated about the Boston Celtics and Glen Davis’s relationship. The Celtics know about the potential talent of Davis and what he can provide to the Celtics in the long run.
The Celtics management also recognise his importance and his relation with the Celtics’ big three. Paul Peirce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen have always showed great comfort while playing alongside with Davis. Davis also knows the playing strategy of the Celtics
