Glen Johnson and Roy Hodgson make peace
Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has revealed that he's talked about his role with manager Roy Hodgson and is happy at the club.

Friction was generated between the pair after Hodgson started to publicly criticise the way Johnson has been playing so far this season. Johnson says he has taken the comments on board and has no problem
with the boss.
"Believe me, no-one wants me to find my best form more than me, and I was aware of what I had to do.
It was a little reminder from the boss, he told me that was what he meant by it," Johnson told Sky Sports.
Johnson has openly admitted that he does need pushing at times in his career to produce his best form. He admits there have been times at Liverpool when he could have done
more to help the team. He also suggests that any possible problems between the pair are an invention of the media.
"We spoke, and he explained he wanted it to help me, to push me and I said to him then, I don't need people to tell me, I know where
I'm at in terms of form, and I knew it all already. Sometimes comments like that can be made to look more negative than they are meant," he added.
Liverpool is currently enjoying a mini-revival after a disappointing start to the season. Johnson is a key component of this revival and is determined to play a big role
as Liverpool looks to climb from a current position of ninth in the Premier League table.
"The boss explained that he didn't mean it in a negative way, just that he
knew I had more to offer than I was showing, and wanted to get that from me," he said.
Betting advice
Liverpool's chances of winning the Premier League have long since ended so there is no point in betting on them to lift the title this season. However, the club remains a good
bet in the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League. There are some big performances to come from this team.
