Now Murray has cleared waivers, and his buy out is pretty much immanent where do you see him going? Personally I think he's got Russia written all over him. Do you see him taking the necessary pay cut to stay in the NHL? If so who do you think would go for him?

  1. i read maybe the Blues will look at him

  2. No doubt the KHL will claim another in Glen Murray.

    Just drop the puck already!

  3. If the Canucks don't get Mats Sundin, they might make a bid for Murray, he can't put up anywhere near the 40 plus goals he did, while playing along side Joe thornton. But he should be good enough for roughly 20-25 goals(max). Might not be such a bad investment for a team lacking secondary goal scoring.

  4. i can see him going to pittsburgh to play with Sid. Or i can see him going to Columbus or other teams that need to reach the minimum cap space

  5. You may be right...but I doubt he goes to Russia. Obviously like you said nobodies going to pay him much of anything, but I think he'll find somewhere and be a sub pa player for a few more seasons then retire.

    ...

    Leafs?

  6. There are still some teams looking for forwards, none of them are probably going to offer him a great deal, but if he still wants to play, he'll probably find a job... If nothing else, the Leafs are looking... lol

  7. Every yr at the trade deadline there've been rumors of Murray to Buffalo

I think my Sabres may be intrested

  8. who would want him

  9. Sundin is not going to Vancouver. Murray will go to the Canucks at 1.5 - 2 million. He will play with the Sedins and score 43 goals.

  10. Glen Murray is NOT going to Russia. Trust me.

I think a team that needs depth in scoring (albiet limited not- maybe 15-20 for the season).

    Ottawa?

    Colorado?

    Florida?

    Toronto?
