Glenadda Magic the one to side with - Peterborough 620 Preview
There are a few very dangerous hounds in Wednesday’s Peterborough 620, but only Glenadda Magic looks the one to side with. Producing good results consistently over the past few weeks, the black dog is full of confidence at the moment.
He did well at Romford last month. After missing the gold medal only by a short head’s distance, the David Pruhs-trained raised his game to seize the first place by four and a quarter lengths on January 25th.
The son of Droopys Scolari did not rest on his laurels, and kept doing the great job. On his penultimate ride at Nottingham, he was second to Fabulous Reason. Despite getting crowded in the beginning, he ran well to get the runner-up spot.
The latest race was quite impressive. The September-10 hound dominated the proceedings all the way through, giving the rivals no chance whatsoever. Thanks to a flawless run, the maverick hound captured the first place by one and a half lengths.
Since he is doing well on constant basis, it is pretty hard to overlook his chance for the top rank. Among the rivals are: Bangcrashwallop, Mays Valley, Scala Maldini, Woodhill Paddy, and News Reporter.
The punter are left with hardly any time, as the contest is about to begin. According to the plan, the 620 metres race will be kicked off at 21:54 GMT. A cash prize of 150 pounds is reserved for the ultimate champion.
As far as Mays Valley’s prospects are concerned, it is not sure whether the switch to red vest will make the desired effect. The brindle dog is in awful form at the moment.
Bangcrashwallop will become unbeatable if he delivers his one hundred percent. The white and black dog was impressive last time around, when winning the race by nine and a half lengths despite getting crowded in the beginning. This is way tougher though.
Scala Maldini should appreciate the return to six boxes. News Reporter must dig deeper against these rivals. Woodhill Paddy is a lightly raced type, and has made an impression in the past. We wish the best of luck to all the contestants.
