Glenbane Air expected to win Ladbrokes Blue Riband - 3rd Semi-final
Glenbane Air is expected to win the Ladbrokes Blue Riband - 3rd Semi-final at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR race will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The Grade 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 12:47 GMT and a total of six quality runners have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Glenbane Air, Jaytee Ray, Swan Storm, Farloe Titan, Drumcrow Dav and Kinda True.
The bookies have shown full confidence in the abilities of Glenbane Air, who is in terrific form at the moment. Considering the overall stats of all hounds, the punters will also be placing a lot of bets in favour of the favourite runner.
The K. Hutton’s trainee has been doing a fabulous job at different venues, but Hall Green seems to have suited his style more than any other track. He took part in a T2 event here and impressed one and all with his speed.
Afterwards, the seasoned dog entered a Grade OR event at Hall Green and dominated the proceedings, winning the race by almost two lengths. He is expected to deliver a similar show today as well.
The white and black dog is the son of Pacific Mile out of Hondo On Air and was born in April 2009.
The P. Youngs’ trained hound, Jaytee Ray, has also managed to impress the bookies with his recent form. However, victories seem to have dried up for him, thus the bettors will be discouraged to risk money in his favour.
In his most recent run at Hall Green, Jaytee Ray finished runner up after being unable to challenge the race winner. He looked in contention for victory at the start, but kept on losing ground as the race progressed, ending up in a distant second place.
The blue dog, who has got plenty of experience, is the son of Elite State out of Africa and was born in June 2008.
Furthermore, Swan Storm, Farloe Titan and Drumcrow Dav are also capable of winning races and will definitely give a tough time to the top two favourites at Hall Green. However, things will still not be easy for them.
