Glenn Johnson may soon exit Liverpool
Liverpool's star right back, Glenn Johnson might soon find himself packing his bags and making his way out of Anfield. This is because not one but three teams seem to be interested in landing the player who appears to have fallen from grace with the rest
of the Liverpool squad this season.
The teams looking to sign the player are Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Juventus. All three play in three different leagues and so it seems that the player has a wide array of choices on his hands if he does opt to make the switch.
The right back is reported to have grown rather frustrated with the team manager Roy Hodgson after hearing some negative criticism about his performances, which lead to the manager labelling the player as boring.
Harry Redknapp is more than aware of Glenn Johnson's abilities as the manager was in charge of West Ham when the player was just a trainee and later went on to sign him from Chelsea after his career seemed to be going down the drain, but he managed to blossom
again under Redknapp at Portsmouth.
The Tottenham manager is also a fan of making a shock signing or two in the January transfer window and hence is being rated as the favourite to sign the player, if he does opt to make the move.
Roy Hodgson is apparently weighing up his options elsewhere and is willing to let the player go for way less then the eighteen million pounds that he was evaluated at a season ago. Johnson has in the past also indicated that he would like to make a switch,
but to Juventus in Italy.
With that being the case it is bound to be a close race between all the clubs that are chasing the player, with the first team to make the right offer bound to end up landing him.
