  1. Some fish stores stock them depending on where you live.

If you order them...you can do this online...either way you are looking at about $30 minimum for shipping...and about $3-$6 a fish.  You can find them at petstores for about $3-$6 a fish, so why order online when you can buy them locally...usually.

The are floresent colored so without a black light, they will not glow...but they will add a variety of striking colors to the tank.  A blacklight is not the best for fish.  They need a cycle of light...day/night.  So have a reg light on the tank and buy a blacklight bulb for show if you want...like at night or when guest come over...just beware these bulbs get hot really quick.

You can get blacklights in many sizes...so the limits are endless...you usually have to purchase the blacklights seperate or can buy a blacklight bulb instead, if the tank comes with in a kit with the light fixture.  The size of the tank...needs to be a minimum of 10 Gallons...these guys will skim the top of your tank and stay mostly to the top and the middle.  They need swimming room without obstructions...so they will swim back and forth on the top of the tank.

The great thing is they are best in schools of 3-5, and with a 10 Gallon tank you can buy like 5 in different colors.  Also think about adding about 3 Albino Cory Cats...these are great when you decide to turn the black light on.  But have the regular bulb in during the day...ya want them to have some access to light...not a blacklight.

Glofish are genetically altered Zebra Danios.  So they eat regular tropical fish food.

Zebra Danios and the altered GloFish are hardy little fish and not hard to take care of at all.

    Best of Luck!
