  1. Which do like more?  What are your plans for the future?  I loved and spent a lot of time studying sciences both in high school and in college.  I ended up getting a degree in history, and started on master's work in history, but I am planning on going back to finish what few classes I need to have a BS in geology.  There are quite a few scholarships for women studying the sciences, more than studying humanities.  Choosing the Global Ecology will not get you out of reading.  With all the attention on the environment global ecology might be very useful and popular.  Seems like everyone is going green.  While you still have time to decide what you want to be when you grow up, it is definitely worth thinking about.  I did some museum work, but then I ended up going into teaching (really never planned that) and I have discovered that with science I can almost go where I want.

  2. Apparently the global ecology has no future.

I'd study mathematics were I you. You can always read on your own time later.
