Global Warming Affect on North-east Ameria?

Question

How will global warming change the weather/climate of north-east America (around NY area)? For example: will it be extra snowy, will there be more precipitation, etc.

You can star this cuz its a very interesting question =]

We know from the movie "the day after tomorrow" that NY residents will be caught unaware by a tsunami caused by Global Warming.  it will raise the ocean level so much that Long Island will not be an island anymore but instead a chain of islands.  all the skyscrapers that don't fall over will be the only way to see where Long Island was before.

Then another catastrophic event could occur.  We could get a sudden chilling of the lower atmosphere as the upper and lower atmospheres invert.  This will cause the temperature to drop to sub zero and freeze everything in sight.  Ice will get so thick you could skate between all the skyscrapers on long Island, that is if it wasn't sea water.  Man o Man, it could even get that cold to freeze the sea water.  It happens around the polls so why not in New York.  This will all be the effects of Global Warming unless we turn things around now by buying Carbon Credits from people who are willing to save the environment, capture Carbon in the atmosphere and store it instead of burning things and releasing it again.

Could someone tell me how to start one of those companies, because I would like to help save the planet by selling carbon credits.

If you havn't seen that movie, The Day After Tomorrow you really should.  It is pretty easy to find now on VHS at thrift stores.  If you buy it there it won't cause any more unnessisary production requiring the burning of fuels so you will help save the planet that way as well.

Yea, global warming causes increased snow and cold.  It also creates floods and droughts and everything in between.  

Global warming is also responsible for night and day.  Everything that happens is because of global warming.

oh its an interesting question, but it is a little too complex for anyone here to give a good answer. the best climate models cannot predict changes in weather patterns at this time
