  1. I would simply say this....

    ONCE AGAIN....

Global Warming MEANS "World Wide Warming!" It is ONLY A Political Term = NOT based in Real Science!

The EARTH is covered by "Three Quarters WATER!" Basic Science, it takes ONE-Btu to raise One Cubic Centimeter ONE Degree Centigrade!

HOW many "Gazillion Cubic Centimeters are there ONLY on the Surface of Planet Earth COVERED by 3/4 Water?"

HOW many Btu's would it take TO RAISE THE SURFACE TEMPERATURE ONE DEGREE?

    DO THE MATH!

And, were are the Million TEMPERATURE MEASURING SITES on the Many Oceans THAT TELL US THAT THE OCEAN TEMPERATURES ARE RISING? Not!

Oh yes, POLAR temperatures have varied LESS Than one degree in the past 100-Years. Noticed I said VARIED, = NOT RISEN!

    Thanks, RR

  2. basically that the whole global warming concept is just another mundane topic that has been hyped up by the media to raise their ratings. This would allow more airtime to be sold to large restaurant franchises and superstores...

  3. For decades, environmentalism has been the Left's best excuse for increasing government control over our actions in ways both large and small. It's for Mother Earth! It's for the children! It's for the whales!

But until now, the doomsday-scenario environmental scares they've trumped up haven't been large enough to give the sinister prize they want most of all: total control of American politics, economic activity, and even individual behavior.

With global warming, however, greenhouse gasbags can argue that auto emissions in Ohio threaten people in Paris, and that only global government can tackle such problems.

    National sovereignty? Democracy?

Forget it: global warming has now brought the Left closer to global government, statism, and the eradication of individual rights than it has ever been before.

  4. It's part of their emotional development and some kids are more sensitive than others.  Young kids tend to be easily overwhelmed by what others, especially parents tell them.  If you tell them something bad will happen to them, they will burst into tears.

When they get older they will have a different perspective.

  5. I've worked with the public explaining environmental issues a lot, i find children the most pleasant group to work with.

I think children are more open minded, they don't tend have the same emotional biases as their parents. This means they are less inhibited when it comes to understanding emotive concepts, such as the need to respond to global warming. They are also more able to adapt to change then adults.

  6. I feel the same feelings of frustration everyday when I see that most of the people don't do anything to change something even when they have the means to do it. They are so absorbed into their daily routine that they have become insensitive to problems like these. They don't care of anything unless it affects them directly and immediately. They use water abundently even when they don't need it and pollute it without ever thinking that that their children may not have water to drink, they don't recicle the garbage, don't think that some of the things instead of let to pollute our environment could be very well reused, they cut the trees and never think that one day all life on this planet might disappear due to the lack of oxygen...

Children are much more sensitive to these problems and try to attract adults' atention, but in most of the cases they are too deaf to hear their warning and dismiss everything they say as being childish.

  7. It is good for those who care about the enviorment so dearly.I'm going to get off subject for just a second:  I'm 13, and i love marine animals, including sharks. I once had written a letter to sea world, and they sent me conservation issues back to me, It showed how many animals were close to extinction: the giant panda, the rare Baiji dolphin, who is belived to have fewer than 100 animals.

We need to speak up, adults included, i don't ever like hearing "we can't do anything about it!" Which is why we should turn to big-and impromises organizations like: Sea world, and Discovery Cove, Humane Society, the national zoo in D.C., and the animal foundation.  I would say to all people AGAINST global warming:

" If we don't try to preserve all creatures who are endangered, humans are going to have a low food source, low food source means loss of life, this is all down the road, and by means to protect and used conservation... to protect endangered animals. We might be able to save not only animals, but us as well. Global warming is real, why else would the Antartic ice floe get smaller? It's not because of temperature changes! This is happening to tropical and sub-tropical climents. You (people against global warming) don't look close enough, and for those who do, global warming may or not be stopped, but we're also protecting us as well as the animals."

If you don't agree, but if one thing dissapears from the ENTIRE food kingdom, wouldn't that effect another thing, espeacially if it was a predator. Take Great white Sharks out of the oceans, and guess what?    The seal populartion will skyrocket, and that's not good.  Other animals, the sick ones, would die and lie on the ocean floor (i know this isn't really global warming issues but conservation)

The Tiger shark is known as the garbage man in the sea, he will eat anything, sick and dying creatures, anything he can catch, he'll probably eat it. Let's take the Tiger away, than it's bad now:

    Certain populations would skyrocket (seals)

Sick and Dying animals could spread another fish-bacterial infections to other, making the ocean very unhealthy for HUMANS AND ANIMALS alike.

The ocean is never healthy without it's top predators:

Sharks. (orca's are too, but the ocean needs sharks as well)

Global warming is real people, and we need to do something.

**that's what you could say, but decide yourself, great question, and i enjoyed reading the article**

  8. i would say vote for people to die and trees to live or i will send the greenshirts to kill you!

    CHANGITY CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE!

VOTE FOR HOPE, HOPE FOR CHANGE!

    OBAMA08

  9. Hakuna Matata.

  10. I would say that the environmentalists killed the dinosaurs, including Barney the purple one, with a dull pocket knife by sawing off each of their limbs as slowly as possible. It's not true, but it would be just as accurate as what children are being indoctrinated with at the moment and would provide balance as required by a "fairness doctrine".

  11. Well following the same approach as the extremists, Dinosaurs once roamed the earth and were exterminated by "Global Warming".  Automobiles weren't invented then so who was to blame.

By all means, let's bring back the Dinosaurs only let's feed liberals to them to maintain their species since they care so much for them over our own human race.

  12. i realy

    don't care

  13. The world has always changed drastically.

Humans / Corporations / Industrialization is *NOT DESTROYING THE EARTH.*  The inability of people to make rational judgments without their emotions and the constant lies about industrial civilization is astounding.  At least some of it is the fault of the green media's ever more dire predictions & negative attitude.

When I hear that multiple students cried, I understand they are being emotionally manipulated to feel guilty for what the Earth does naturally.  Species die out all the time.

For the lunatic green, every natural disaster is human-caused.  They are full of guilt (often because they don't have a traditional *real* religion) and so gravitate towards global warming telling them how to live their lives.  Rational, practical stewardship of the Earth is NOT what the greens are after.

This is the stuff of cults.  Green vs. Evil.

Good for you evans!  Why would a parent look to children for answers??  That is completely backwards.

  14. My children have no answers, only questions.  I teach them facts.  I teach them how to search for the answer on their own so they can know the truth and not whatever the first person representing authority tells them.  I'm raising independent, intelligent little capitalists with the ability to set and achieve their own goals.  In 25 years, the world will be their oyster and they'll be equiped to shuck it with ease.
