  1. In the continents of Artica and Antartica! Certainly the major places anyway. Without the ice the oceans will absorb more of the sun's heat thus making the planet warmer!

  2. The ice caps and Greenland, New Oleans. Where the recent cyclone hit. There are many places. Hope I helped! =)

  3. myanmar is one.  the coast may have PERMANENTLY changed.  the experts in the area say some of the flooding may never recede.  deforestation in africa would be a good second choice.

edit:sorry- i mean deserification, not deforestation.

  4. The North Pole and the Arctic Ocean is one.

Central Africa and especially Lake Chad 9claimed to be the first conflict caused by global warming)

Australia where cotton growing and dairy herds have been decimated in the south east

South of Spain which is enduring terrible droughts

  5. the poles as the ice caps are melting CLEARLY caused by global warming

    & Argentina

  6. My first choice, for the present, are the little towns up on the Andes in South America. A famous ski resort is out of snow and the nearby town (Altos?) will be out of drinking water.

My second choice is the recent findings in all the deep lakes in the world that are slowly warming up but, that is not the current problem, the problem is that the warming up reduces the cold water that allowed circulation and kept oxygen at deep levels and kept little fish alive. Now, they are gone and the lifeless water promotes algae that makes the water green and murky.

Sadly, one of these examples is Lake Tahoe but this has also been found in all other deep lakes in Japan, Russia and other countries.

The increased number of violent hurricanes is harder to link to Global Warming, which brings more "Energy" into the wind and all forms of cirulations, like tornadoes and hurricanes increase in number and severity but, not uniformly greater in number every year.

Some tornadoes have been photographed with a width at the ground of over a mile in diameter. I never heard of any that was larger than 50 ft. before, but there may have been. Tornadoes do not stick around for long.

My third choice is the dry hot weather in the west with Lake Mead and Lake Superior at new record low levels every year. Lake Superior is notable also because it is Glacier-fed and the Glaciers, all over the world are disappearing.

My fourth choice is the end of glaciers. The fourth largest lake in the world was in Russia, the Aral Sea, but it lost three fourths of its water and may dry up. The worse part is that tens of thousands depend on that lake to survive. As bad as that is, in Central Asia about 1.5 Billion people depend on glacier water and most of those people have not even "heard" of Global Warming, they have no TV, radio or newspapers, so they are not getting ready, at all. And, nobody, not Russia, not the UN, not the U.S. and not Europe are doing anything to inform them, much less doing something about it, you know, like build dams, relocate people, dig wells, who knows what is practical? Fortunately, the US has the big Boeing C-17 assembly line still running and might provide models to other nations in need to help large numbers of people.

My fifth choice of an indicator is the well documented snowmelt in the Sierra Nevada in California. The water comes faster and earlier and there is water shortages. Some parts of Southern California are already restricting watering of plants and lawns and chargine more to restrict the use of swimming pools. The steps are minor but increase every year but, if you ask the people with this restrictions if they believe Global Warming is real they will say "NO" followed by wild accusations about the water companies starting the rumor to charge more for the water.

In short, Global Warming will continue to be ignored and the fact that our President ignores it, does not help. Next, January we will have a Democratic President and all candidates believe and support actions to fight Global Warming. The best news is that the higher price of oil is the very best way to fight global warming except that in India, they are converting power plants from oil to coal, which is the worst way to promote Global Warming. The best, and the cheapest way to produce electricity is with Windmills, which can be done everywhere and even at night.

Solar cells are expensive but worth the investment if your local energy company buys the extra power at a premium. This allows many in California to pay back for the solar panels in eight to ten years.

  7. The Arctic Coast

    The Antarctic Coast

These two boundaries are well documented affected areas.

This writer says it's hopeless now.

  8. there are much more than that

Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation, desertification, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture, over pumping carbon aquifers

all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR,

The most prolific growth on this planet is part of the day in the mist and most of the time under clouds ,and the least growth is always directly in the sun .

To exchange the one for the other means changing local climates

We are exchanging Nature with Tar , concrete and open spaced mono cultures.

In 300 years half of the planets forests have gone ,and in the last 50 years half of the wet lands ,and rain forests

These Areas absorb heat during the day and release heat at night ,

Cause cloud formation(shade).humidifying the air on the surface as well as releasing excess water at the roots that keep rivers flowing ,which in turn brings more water into the Environment .

As well as contributing to absorbing carbon emissions as do the leaves of the trees together with the oceans .

All in all many factors which directly affect the local Environment .

    and this directly affects humans

The loss of the above resulting in rivers drying up ,less rain ,desertification, loss of habitat for many species and so on.

dryer and hotter surface environments which can manifest in different weather patterns such as tornadoes or bush fires

I may be stupid or Naive but somehow i believe that lots of these local environmental changes, can add up to affect global weather, If there are enough of them (and there are)

And then on top of that comes the story of the effects of pollutants released into Nature and especially the Air ,by MANhttp://earthissues.multiply.com/photos/a...

A cocktail of events and a lot of the ingredients have MAN written all over them

So it is safe to assume that we should look at ourselves , ,for possible improvements ,and rectifying Eco errors that are with in our powers.

23.000 people were killed at  Myanmar

    http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles...

other disasters have been Happening for a number of year related to climatic changes

recently In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests, this had never happened before. Millions of animals died.

In India 3000 people died because of super storms .

.A few years ago in Europe 3500 people, died during a heat wave ,many of them in France .

Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming

. these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.

In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.

The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing .

The biggest changes are invisible at micro biotic levels species are becoming extinct ,others are multiplying ,

    Many more disasters will follow
