Global Warming is like?

Global Warming is like a man who doesn't care about cleaning. Dishes are all over the kichen. Clothes area all over the room. Someone says to him, "If you clean dishes regulary and clean your rooms, you can maintain you house in good shape." He says "It's none of you business." More and more dishes pill up. More and more cloths pill up. Rooms get dustier and more moldy. Neibours start complaining about the smell. When he finally realizes, it is too late. He says to himself, "I should have taken good care of it." The Earth is big, but if we don't take good care of it, it may not be able to sustain healthy environment. Even if Global Warning was a myth, isn't it better to take a careful approach? When some people say "It is part of nature's cycle.", it sounds as if they are saying "I don't care if the Earth is condemed, I will not be here to experience it anyway. As long as I don't suffer who cares." When it comes to the Earth, the common sense of cleaning does not seem to apply.

Global warming is NOT like a kitchen with dishes.    We know the results for sure and we know It can be fixed for sure.  Things can be made like day one again in the kitchen.

Global warming.....not so easy.     Polar ice caps melting.  We are not talking about an inch or foot of ice.   We are talking "miles deep" by hundreds of square miles.    And what is happening in the Artic, the same is happening in the Antartic.  This also means controlling the weather. (nobody's able to do that-not even in small localized areas).

   But the increase in the temperature has brought about(as scientist predicted a temperature rise would bring) an extreme in the weather conditions, with more hurricanes and more droughts and more floods than what we have seen in the recorded past.

   If I were to say, I don't care, then scientists can stop looking for ways to extend my life with miracle cures.   If tomorrow they found the gene that would allow you to not age past 25 in looks and health and live for 500 years, would you go for it?  Not likely.  The planet was condemned by you, remember?

Take a careful approach. That would be wonderful but that is not what people are proposing. That is what most people are against. If people who believe in AGW want to change their lives drastically and not drive, use electricity, become vegans, and every other thing under the sun please feel free to do so.

You have no right to tell the rest of us how to live our lives.

Now quit wasting energy by being on here preaching to everyone.
