Question:

Global Warming isn't real, is it?

Global warming is just something created by Al Gore to help the scientists get money, the earth is moving at the same rate it always has, its just nature. Human mankind is not responsible, and this will not be (shouldn't be) the slightest problem for hundreds and hundreds of years to come still. Go ahead and make an arguement if you feel here, I think its fake.

  1. yea sure i know some people may believe in global warming but i dont

different people believe in different things

  2. when i watched Al Gores movie, i belived some things and others were a NO WAY in my opinion. i think global warming is real, and that ultra violent rays are being trapped in earths atmosphere because we are putting out so much pollution that the atmosphere is so thick. Al Gore also said that the temp. would be off the charts in about fifty years....i dont reallly think thats correct. everyone has different opinions...that was mine. hope it helps a little

  3. Yes global warming is real,BUT we r not the cause. People believe the bs that Al gore is putting out there. It is not true.

It's just another way the government can control Americans lives.

U must question anyone that is not willing to debate the issue

Al Gore will not debate anyone on this issue because he knows it is not true

  4. People who believe in global warming are still a minority.  Most of us haven't fallen for it, because there is no evidence of it. There is no warming anywhere that is attributable to man-made global warming.  There is no marked increase in atmospheric CO2 to cause it.

Some theories are believable by most people, others just by brainwashed hordes of leftist sponges who absorb and believe without question anything they are told.

Global warming has nothing in the least to do with science.  It has everything to do with politics and profiteering.  With no facts to back them up, the believers will slowly convert.

  5. Yes it is real but not on account of the reason they say

    .. . ...

The sun is getting hotter science has noted that the suns out put has increased

    .. . ..

The polar cap on Mars for the first time has started to melt

    .. . ..

And a planet with very little atmosphere  is not going to have a ton on pollution with out some ONE to make it

    .. . ...

Haven't you noticed the heat of the sun on a bright day how it even feels hotter

    .. . .,

It is not in your imagination it is real that is one of the reasons why skin cancer is on the rise % wise of population

    .. ...

  6. There is currently no evidence that man has made any significant contribution to climate change.

    Some interesting facts.

    1. During most of the past 2,000 years, the temp has been about the same or higher. Currently, we are barely over the average for the last 2,000 years.

    2. During the medieval warm period (820 – 1040 AD), Greenland supported farming. Those areas previously farmed are now covered in glaciers. Obviously the melting and reformation of glaciers is a cyclical occurrence.

    3. The earth experienced a little ice age which ended around the late 1860's or so. This is about the time man started recording temperatures. This would be like measuring a lake depth after a severe drought, then worrying about it flooding as it rose to normal levels.

    4. The earth has been warming for the last 10,000 years, since the last major glacier time period. Also, for most of the last 1 billion years, the earth had NO glaciers or ice coverage.

    5. The AGW theory states that CO2 is the primary driver of temperature. They arrived at this idea because they did not know of anything else which could cause it. But during the 70's and during the current decade, temperatures dropped while CO2 continued to rise. This means that natural occurrences are driving temp, not CO2.

    6. The Pacific Decadal Oscillation and sun spots provides a much better correlation to earths' temperature than CO2 levels ever have.

    7. Polar Bears are experiencing a population boom. Coke sales in the arctics are through the roof. Polar Bears have been around for thousands of years, and remember, we are only at the average for the last 2,000 years. They lived through all the previously warmer climates.

    8. The glaciers have been melting now for over 10,000 years. the current rate of melting is similar to previous melting.

    9. There is no consensus on AGW. This was a lie that has been propagated by the media.

    10. Yes we emit CO2 into the atmosphere and it is a greenhouse gas, but, we only contribute about .28% of all the greenhouse effect. Water vapor makes up about 95% of the greenhouse effect. CO2 and other trace gases round out the greenhouse gases at about 5% for all of them. Of that 5%, only 3% is CO2, and most of that is natural. Again, our contribution to the greenhouse effect is a paltry .28%

    11. The spread of disease is not attributed mainly to temperature. If this were the case, Florida would be a giant festering disease ridden cesspool. Economic standing is the primary determining factor in the spread of disease. Poor cultures can not fight the disease or eradicate the pests like more successful nations.

    12. Natural climate disasters (hurricanes, cyclones, etc) have never been scientifically linked to global warming (whether natural or man made).

  7. You're doing the same thing the media and others do, confusing the issue.  There are two separate issues:

    Global warming

    Man-made global warming

The planet has obviously gotten slightly warmer lately.  Thus, we have global warming.  Now, the big question is whether or not mankind has had an impact on the amount of warming and, if we have, is there anything we can do about it.  I personally don't think mankind has that much power.  One major volcanic eruption would spew thousands of times of pollutants into the atmosphere than we do annually and completely eliminate any gains we might make.  CO2 in the past (on a 100+ million time scale) has seemed to cause climate change, but scales of temp increase and CO2 levels were much higher than current levels.  I just don't think we have enough information to runaround spending billions of dollars on something that may not have any effect.

  8. i wish that was right! but sorry its not

  9. The earth undergoes periods of heating and cooling and will continue to do so.  It flushes out unadaptable or oper populating species.  The current trend will diminish food and water supplies and hopefully get homo sapiens down to a manageable number such as under one billion.

  10. It is a myth and everyone now knows it. That is why the new term is climate change.

Global Warming — An overall warming of the planet, based on average temperature over the entire surface.

Climate Change — Changes in regional climate characteristics, including temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind, and severe weather events.

  11. An argument can only have an affect if a person has an open mind.  Do you have an open mind?

If so then I'd suggest you first put some time into studying the issue by reading what climate scientists from actual climate research organizations say about the subject.  This isn't a subject you can understand by merely spending a few minutes googling or listening to your favorite radio host or cable news report.  It's based on extensive science that has been on-going for over 100 years.

  12. PROPAGANDA! they got everyone paranoid so they can tax us and make trillions of dollars

If its so bad for the earth why not just ban all emissions? Oh no! we cant do that! Then all the companys that pay us billions of dollars to keep our mouths shut would go down hill and so would our personal profits. Like my new yacht? yeah? you payed for it

  13. GLOBAL WARMING REAL FOR SURE WE ARE DESTROYIG THE EARTH .

  14. I have to agree that the globe is warming, scientists have proven that.  But......do I think that man is the sole cause of that warming?  Absolutely not.  I am a strong believer in the earth running in cycles.  We already know that we have had some very cold spells, ie. ice age.  So we are in a warming trend right now, a natural, normal occurrence.

I also feel that we should continue to find alternative ways to heat and cool our homes, fuel our cars and run our factories.  We also need to protect our water sources by keeping them clean and available for drinking and find something useful to do with our garbage and put the landfills out of business.  We need to start pumping our tax dollars into inventors and their innovations-those are the people that are going to keep our planet clean and healthy.

  15. This recently written paragraph says it better than I can:

    "UNBEARABLE?

Few generations of young people can have been so betrayed by the adult world that their natural instincts lead them to trust, and which they depend on for security and guidance than those of today. If they're not in parts of the world that are being bombed, looted, or exploited for cheap labor, they are cynically manipulated to become wage and tax slaves on the consumer treadmill and force-fed a diet of scare stories and politically correct ideologogies designed to instill fear, conformity, and subservience. The latest emetic that I read told of children coming home in tears after being told at school that we're wiping out the polar bears. Well, sorry, but the world was as warm in the 1930s as it is now, warmer in the late medieval period, warmer still in Roman times, a lot warmer a few thousand years before that when southern England was tropical, and the polar bears came through just fine. Actual studies of present populations show that they're again managing to thrive regardless--maybe because they don't watch TV."
