Now, I personally do not believe in global warming.

I do think the current lifestyle is live is bad for the enviornment though,so Im not anti-enviornment.

But, honestly, you hear people yammer on about "Global Warming"

But whats being done about said problem?

Is it that we just dont care and we will continue to do what we like? -No, we know it will affect our kids, and out kids kids.

Are we uneducated about it? -No, its everywhere

Its the political aspect of it.

No mayor, or president wants to waste the time or money on this.

Im currently reading "Urban Meltdown" and it really open my eyes to the fact that its not the factthat were unware or anything, its the politics.

Which really sucks. Is anyone else as mad as I am about this?

I wish we could just help the earth without dumb people getting in the way because "Boo-hoo we have to spend money saving the earth when we could spend it on stocks"

  1. Global Warming is NOT a fact.  The biggest problem is the theory is not published in any scientific journal for peers or otherwise to review it.  All we hear are snippets that are used for political talking points.  It's the main reason that the official mantra states 'there is scientific consensus among RESPONSIBLE Climate Scientists that Global Warming is a fact'.  How convenient to eliminate any scientist in the world who disagrees with your viewpoint such as those names which have been verified on the Oregon Petition.  Those who really care about the earth practice recycling, reducing waste and supporting methods to reduce pollution in their daily lives...not just talk about it like Al Gore.  I can guarrantee that my Carbon Footprint, if it's even a valid method for measurement, is significantly smaller than his any day of the week.

  2. Hi friend

i am with you, i am also mad about this global warming, people never seems to be care about it , they just mind their own life they didn't car about our future generation. so i started to chat about  this with my friend when i got the chance.

And i just refer them a blog with contain all basic idea about this global warming. I hope will also do this

i came to now about this when i am searching about this.

    Here is the link

you can share anything about this matter and i am very much interested in it

  3. These days, the word "climate change" is being used more instead of global warming. Because climate change is the more generic term. Anyway, let me just stick to using global warming.

You said you do not believe in global warming. But why? Do you know that there is a lot of scientific evidence for global warming. You might want to take a closer look at the scientific evidence before coming to conclusions.

Coming to what I think - I think that not many people or governments really care about global warming.

  4. A agree with yourself. I was attempting to find some way to ask the political nominees their thoughts on the matter. I am not a treehugger by any means, but I'm reading Plan B 3.0 by Brown; a good book opening up my eyes to what we all need to do to help keep our environment that we are a part of alive. As cliche as it sounds, do your part and the rest will follow.

  5. Bush isn't caring.

  6. Global warming is not a fact, except for Newsweek worshippers, and the solutions being proposed are just ways to lower emissions in NATO countries, so "global" warming wouldn't be curbed anyway.  It isnt the fact people have to spend money, its the fact other nations that pollute far more would get a free pass.

  7. Global warming is a fact and should be a concern for all of us.

  8. There aren't many that care at all. In fact i've seen such disgusting comments being happy if this earth was wrecked.

well i guess it'll come and go and people will wish to god and heaven they did something. but ain't that how it always is?

  9. I'd be more impressed with you if you could spell "warrior".

I question your claim that nobody wants to spend (or "waste", as you say) time or money on this.  California just went to court to establish that it can try to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from vehicles, and is now trying to overturn the EPA's denial of its waiver application.  Lawsuits cost money!

Yes, there's a ton of politics around this.  That's largely because there are huge economic and social interests which are affected by this, so when the climate science falls into their midst they fight over it like hungry dogs fighting over a piece of meat.  That doesn't make the meat wrong, or the science.  If you believe it does, your thinking is muddied (perhaps by prejudice).

There's almost no way to deal with this that doesn't hurt somebody's interests.  That guarantees politics, controversy, stonewalling, propaganda.... and we have them all in spades.

Guess what?  There's zero scientific case against evolution, and we still have people fighting a propaganda war against it.  The controversy and politics don't make the science wrong.

  10. I live in Ohio, and wish global warming was real. It's Feburary, its cold as usual.  I'd love to be outside in shorts now, playing golf, BBQ'ing.

  11. Am not sure where you are from !!!!!!!!!!!

So how do you explain Americas freezing storms and Australia's drought and extreme temperatures this summer.

This is telling us there is something moving right now.

I think we all had a misconception about  global warming depends on where your living.

I do worry about my Grand kids and their children living in such horrid conditions, and you should be as well.

Just do your own bit to help your area and look it up on line you might get a shock.

Even in your own home helps and teaches the children as well

  12. If you dont believe in global warming you are a complete fool.  The federal government is not doing a lot about global warming, but states and especially cities are stepping up, so dont say we arent doing absolutely nothing about it!  We dont have to change our lifestyles except become vegetarians. Otherwise we just need to change how we get our energy and resources!
