Im doing a visual project on global warming, relating to climate change and basing my visual images on deforestation and gas emitions from cars can you guys give me some conceptual ideas? or some ideas that i could do, im running a bit dry with ideas ... e.g. a box in the middle of the page with wood logs inside it (can symbolise deforestation, wood to be sold for comercial use etc). thanks 4 any help guys.

  1. seems to me that the evidence seem to be pointing to the coldest winter in a while

  2. You could have a box with nothing in it. I'm not being sarcastic. There is no evidence of global warning. In order to know the average temperature of the earth at any given moment, there would have to be temperature sensors every square mile over the entire surface of the earth. This is not the case.

So, we don't know what the average temperature is or was for the last 100 years. If the average temperature of the entire planet has increased, there is no evidence that anything that people have done has caused it.

10,000 years ago there were glaciers that covered all of Canada and parts of the most northern states in the USA.  Now there are glaciers in parts of Alaska. Obviously, the average temperature of the planet has increased a lot in the past 10,000 years.

No one knows why the average temperature of the planet has increased over the past 10,000 years or if the earth has stopped warming because of whatever the reason it started getting warmer 10,000 years ago.

Global warming is a scam that was started by scientists to scare people. I don't know all of the reasons that scientists are lying about this, but I know that they are lying for some ulterior purpose and that you can no longer believe what scientists say, about anything.

  3. Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

    Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':

    Humans did not cause it.

    Humans cannot stop it.
