What fashion changes?  Hippies have been wearing the same thing for years... long nappy unwashed hair, old concert t-shirt, ripped jeans, and berkenstock sandles...man or women.

I have no objection to women wearing less clothing, but, I think changes in the fashion industry are caused by people spending more time inside and greater use of cooling and heating.
