Hi I'm doing a research paper where the thesis is "Global warming's effect on the fashion world" does anybody know of any sources either internet, newspaper, magazines, or books I can look into for more on the topic?

Hi, a slightly peripheral answer to your question.  Electricity generating fabric http://medgadget.com/archives/2008/02/el... .  Truly carbon neutral (at least if one ignores manufacture) way of generating small amounts of power by means of clothing.

It is really doubtful that climate change is affecting fashion.  People wear the same type of clothes all year round because more and more, we occupy climate controlled buildings and drive climate controlled cars or climate controlled public transport.

Blaming climate change just makes the story newsworthy by incorportating some disaster theme.
