is this accurate? and how long would it take for sea levels to get to 100m?

  2. I think this map is a better resource:

    http://flood.firetree.net/

    It allows you to enter any sea-level rise you want and then view the map to see the effect.  It would be much more reasonable to look at 1 - 2M rises (probably the  worst-case over the next 100 years) rather than 100M (unlikely to happen within many centuries, if ever).

  3. we are talking extremities here, not to say that we should all be still taking this issue very seriuosly, but i dont think freaking out about it is a good idea either
