  1. The actual global warming is not the real concern. The real issue becomes when ill informed politicians begin to think this is an issue they can solve, if only they had more of our money. They feel taxing the population will help the issue, when in fat, there is no issue. Global warming is a natural occurring cycle. Thinking we have the power to change it is ridiculous. Instead, what will happen is economies around the world will suffer inflation due to rising energy costs. We see the beginning in gas prices. Some of the increase is due to the mandate to use bio fuels, which are much more expensive than good ole oil. Further policies will increase prices even more drastically. Here are some of the results of the bio fuel mandate.

Politicians are already causing food riots and starving among the poorest people. Future policies will be even more costly.

The real tragedy is all the suffering for what? Even the originators of the Kyoto protocal admit that even if we can stiffle the economies of the world to achieve the target emissions of 1990, temperatures will drop .07 degrees. This amount is so small, it can not even be effectively measured.

  2. It costs less to heat your house because it is Warming the Globe.

  3. the added costs to "go green" and the possible costs of "carbon credits" will be huge costs to be passed onto the consumer. Everything will go up in price.

  4. lets see.  global warming in my opinion is a natural cycle, take the drastic changes in the ice age and Medieval warming period both before the industrial revolution.  besides that gas is major in the economy, and, although i believe the percent is small, gas is a contributor to global warming.  so that is one relation.  also the machine that produce materials for the economy can emit fossil fuels.  hmm, businesses also emit fossil fuels with their large scale corporations

  5. Reducing our impact on the global climate does not have to hurt the world's economies. The answer depends much on the "how" and "when."

The challenge is to strike a balance between responding early enough to avoid major negative (costly) impacts, and responding some time later in order to avoid taking big, expensive steps now which then may turn out to be unnecessary or inappropriate. This type of challenge is typical in business and industry; decision-making under uncertainty is the daily bread of most managers.

Clearly, global warming still involves many unknowns, but the remaining uncertainties in our scientific understanding no longer warrant a "wait and see" stance. Science tells us with increasing certainty that we are in for a serious long-term problem that will affect all of us.

And there is much we can do now that makes sense in terms of the economic bottom line while helping to reduce our impact on the global climate and on our local environment and health. The United States and other developed countries should seize the opportunity to take the lead in developing new, clean, energy-efficient technologies, and help developing countries take a greener path to economic prosperity. All of this can be done in a cost-effective manner, while creating jobs and new business opportunities.

  6. The man-made global warming hoax has caused large increases in taxes and that affects businesses and the economy in very bad ways.  It causes large increases in the costs of all aspects of life as well as the loss of freedom for everyone.

That has to be the most expensive hoax ever perpetrated on the world.  A few have made a fortune with this scam, but most of us are paying dearly for it.

  7. it affects our crops from growing b/c it's too hot or frequently changing climates.. it also melts the ice up north causing lots of animals to die.
