Global warming presentation 1?

I am preparing a school presentation, the intended audience is to a group of high school student on the impact the computer industry on global warming, and what they can do to remedy the problem.

One of my main points is to recycle the computer equipment if we want to throw away.

Reason is if we just throw it away, it will generate toxic gases when being burnt, which not only bad to health, but the gas will cause global warming.

My english is not very good, can someone help to phrase it, with extension of the point if necessary, in a way(in speaking manner, but with proper english) that will make the student interested? It is good to make use of some rhetorical devices, like simile, allusion, comparison, counterpoint, hypothesis or rhetorical questions that will make it interesting.

  1. How about Illusion as in what Al Gore used in his movie.  Say that the Polar Bears are going extinct when they are not.  Say that the oceans will rise 20 feet when they may rise 20 inches if that.  Say that Mount Kilamanjaro is melting due to global warming, which is false.  Say that CO2 causes temperature increases when historical trends show that CO2 lags temperature increases by 800 years.  How about throw in the Hockey stick graph which happens to have disappeard and throw in a couple of Wiki-pedia BS crayon graphs to add impact.  Then show footage of a polar bear that just got in a fight with a bunch of walruses, but leave out the walrus part and claim that his paw injurie and limp is due to him starving from global warming.

Yea, do all that and you might brainwash quite a few....
