  1. @ Anthony ,

I think yu got it quite wrong dude, Its the "first world" countries which are responsible for the mess that we r witnessing these days .. and these developed countries became one ..only after burning millions of tonnes of hydrocarbons over all this industrialization period... And in the third world countries, most of the stuff that  developing countries are manufactuing is something that the developed countries are asking them to make and outsoursing to them because of same or better quality at a cheaper cost.

So, if yu really want to make sure that global warming reduces .. better ask the US to take the lead .. rather than hide behind some silly reason ..understood only to themselves.

The countries who are all developed (and they reached this stage all thru burning charcoal, my dear frend) have to take measures right now to stop the menace they started .. then when the third world countries come in the bracket of developed countries ..they should too take up the cause..

  2. no the global warming is increasing ,,,,,global warming and green house gases cant be reduced but earth can be preserved from these elements

    if man mingle with nature

  3. It has not decrease but it has not Increased thats why the ICE are Melting if it was decreased then ICE melting has to be reduced.

  4. I will say that global warming is partly produced by humans. We cannot decreased, it takes about 2000 years for the CO2 to go back the tempreture in year 2000. The only thing we can do to help mother nature is prevent from global warming to get larger.

  5. Not really decreased because I believe we are now in a warming cycle and will eventually enter a cooling cycle, thus continuing the normal cycle our earth has done in the past.

I think for the most part, the discussion on (Global Warming) is much like our modern day court system. Both sides just try to prove their side.hundred of websites all claiming to disprove the other, or no real proof.  Both sides have extreme activists. Money and politics are major players, and the right thing or the moral thing to do is not high on priorities.

Al Gore really stands out and has really hurt the Global Warming cause with his commentary and egotistical version of the earth's natural Climate changes. His movie an inconvenient truth is a really bad movie by the way.

There is a small amount of fact there, but little to no absolute truth as to what or who caused it.

The only difference is that the global warming issue has no definitive answer equivalent to jury and /or Judge.. only the time holds our future or fate.

I believe we have a responsibility to conserve energy, preserve our environment and recycle everything that is feasibly possible.

I do not believe that we are causing a doom & gloom warming catastrophe.  I do know that we need to prepare now by conserving energy, preserving nature and preparing for the next climate change.

To many close minded "hot heads" with no real proof to back their doom & gloom.

  6. Who cares what people think?

Consider the 125 year record of yearly global averages:

Hmm... the long term trend is up.

Even the most ardent skeptics have been unwilling to bet that temperatures will decline:

    http://www.livescience.com/environment/0...

In 2005, Annan offered to take Lindzen, the MIT meteorologist, up on his bet that global temperatures in 20 years will be cooler than they are now. However, no wager was ever settled on because Lindzen wanted odds of 50-to-1 in his favor. This meant that for a $10,000 bet, Annan would have to pay Lindzen the entire sum if temperatures dropped, but receive only $200 if they rose.

“Richard Lindzen’s words say that there is about a 50 percent chance of [global] cooling,” Annan wrote about the bet. “His wallet thinks it is a 2 percent shot. Which do you believe?”

  7. I think that half of global warming is caused from the Earth's natural warming cycle and the other half is caused from man made pollution. The Earth is naturally still coming out of the Ice age, so some melting of the polar ice caps is expected.  But now its happening at a faster rate because of pollution from industry, especially 3rd world countries.  China is a harsh polluter and has many coal burning power plants that contribute to global warming.  Other developing 3rd world countries have the same systems.   I believe that if 3rd world countries and other countries put stricter standards on pollution control, there is a chance that global warming will stabalize; I do not think it will be decreased thought.
