We're a bunch of crazy people, and yes AGW is real!

Sure it is, and this warming cycle has been going on for about 18,000 years with a few major ups an downs.  During the last Ice Age, the ice cap extended down to California, Kentucky, New York and London.  Humans were able to walk from France to England and from Asia to North America.  The ice has been driven back a couple of thousand miles since then and the oceans have risen hundreds of feet in the process.  Billions of acres of land have been exposed to allow growth of forests plus human and animal habitat.

During the Medieval Warm Period, Vikings planted farms on Greenland. Then it got colder again and the deadly glaciers drove them off. Now it's warming again and people may once again be able to farm there soon.

During the 1960s and 1970s, even as industry pumped CO2 into the atmosphere, the Earth went into a drastic cooling spell that had scientists warning us that our CO2 was about to cause another Ice Age. Then it started warming up again.

Knowing this, I know there is absolutely nothing I can do to affect it.

Heck, even other planets in our solar system are warming. We are not causing it but it is real.
