  1. I am not convinced about Global warming being caused by increased levels of co2. When Mt St Hellens erupted it affected the world climate. Other volcanoes have caused similar affects like the mini iceage in the middle ages

  2. The globe warms up and cools down in cycles of thousands of years. It has ben warming in this cycle for thousands of years.

  3. Did we ever have a nuclear winter? no

a nuclear winter is caused by nuclear bombs, which were first used on japan in the 40's and hasn't caused a nuclear winter.

    ice ages are different.

they say that nuclear bombs used on a large scale can throw a bunch of stuff in the atmosphere, blocking out the sun, causing the earth to go into a "nuclear winter"

There is some evidence of the earth's climate over the years in ice core samples from the antarctic and from rocks and so on.

  4. The "nuclear winter" theory is that nucear explosions could send anough debris into the atmosphere to mimic large volcanoes, and that could cool the earth for a few years:

"...we could suffer any one of several catastrophes, such as a volcanic eruption no more severe than Tamboura in 1815 or Laki in Iceland in 1783. These two volcanoes put so much dust into the air that the sun's rays were enfeebled, the earth grew cool and there were two years without harvest. There were then far fewer people in the world, so there were famines, but not enough to destroy civilisation. Just imagine what would happen now. It is said that we have no more than 15-50 days' grain stocks in store at any one time. Two years makes this seem a very short time."

Global warming is a heating influence, and the portion caused by carbon dioxide continues for centuries, so we can't afford to wait and see what happens.

  5. Global warming seems to be coming...hum idk

  6. Well, we've got a greater chance of a nuclear winter happening the global warming.

    Global warming is a myth.

Nuclear winter is just a terrorist bomb from Iran away.
