R u kidding me? A billion years till what... humans being extinct as well as every other animal for 999 million years? Wake up, global warming is now, and it is happening. Polar bears are already starting to die, and an island named Tuvula (website below) will be underwater soon. A billion years. Yeah right.

Where do you get that it wasn't supposed to "happen yet" exactly?  I hate to break it to you.. but we've been in a warming cycle for thousands upon thousands of years.

Not supposed to happen yet?  Warming and cooling happen all the time.  Ice Ages come and go, Munder Minimums from decreased solar activity cause Little Ice Ages like 400 of the past 500 years.  We humans live a very short lifespan, have monumentally poor abilities to look at trends longer than a few years.

As stated above, the temperature has risen slightly less than a degree in a little over a century.  And?

As with all linear graphs it is important to know why the starting point was placed where it was.  Almost all Global Warming fear-mongering uses the 1870's as the starting point for their temperature line.  Ever wondered why?

Simple, because it was approximately the end of The Little Ice Age.  Start at an abnormally cold temperature and show an upward trend... not exactly unbiased math.  Why don't we start instead in the 1940's and show the downward trend through the 1980's?

Or perhaps start in the 1990's and show the downward trend for the last decade   ; )

Limbaugh was right when he referred to young minds made of mush.  The average temperature has gone up one degree in the last hundred years, hardly a cause for alarm. Our sun has no thermostat.  A few hundred years ago they were farming in Greenland.  That is why it was named Greenland.  Now it is a frozen wasteland.  Unlike us, France does not have coal fired plants belching pollution into the air.  They went nuclear years ago starting with an American Westinghouse design.  Nuke plants put out no pollution.  You do get a small abount of radioactive waste.  That waste does not go into the atmosphere. Try to build a nuke plant here and those same gobal warming wackos will keep you in court until you give up.  I do want to be responsible however.  That is why I pledge to not live in a home more that half the size of Al Gore's twenty room, eight bath, mansion in Nashville, Tennessee.

Imagine all those billions of auto. exhaust pipes pumping out all that deadly poisonous exhaust twenty four hours a day.  It never stops.  And yet it's so easy just to get into your car and start the engine.  Seems to me like a criminal planet.  One where the government just sits back and waits.

I believe because I see it. Each year spring is coming earlier, the winter here is less severe. People need to wake up and pay attention.
