  3. Globalization by definition is the merging of cultures, basically the mixing and merging of cultures naturally change them.

The following are just several examples of how globalization naturally affects culture:

Global trade means a distribution of goods and services; cultural goods originating in one part of the world are adopted into the other cultures. (i.e. Tea originated in China and is adopted by Europeans, particularly the English)

Global migration of people brings a natural mixing of cultures, immigrants bringing their language and cultures into other countries. (i.e. Spanish is becoming a second language in the United States)

Similarly, in order to attract people from other countries, a country may adopt certain cultures and traditions of the people they are trying to attract. (i.e. Countries in Latin America and Africa adopting Western culture to attract tourists from Europe and America)

Global spread of technology affects pretty much all cultures that adopt the new technology. (i.e. Wii)

There is also the globalization of policy which are artificial means of globalizing culture, but no less important. Examples include:

    - International Law

    - Geneva Convention

    - the global push to reduce greenhouse gases

    - protection of endangered species

    - International Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

    etc.
