  1. I don't see how your question is political. Teen-aged pregnancy happens all over for many reasons. Teen-agers are horny and think they are invincible. That's about all there is to it! And education is the best form of birth control, compared to silence or abstinence - only agendas. If teens want s*x, they find a way to have it.

  2. Doomed from what? Stupid people? There will always be stupid people, Liberal and Conservative. I just don't see how you can blame liberals for this. Shouldn't we blame it on the conservatives because we didn't teach them how to love Jesus soon enough? Hmm!

  3. Kids are wont to do stupid and foolish things that will probably ruin their lives and negatively impact their own families for generations to come.

The US is not alone in teenage pact fads.  In Japan suicide pacts are all the rage.

Spewing venom at the school system or blaming politics will not remedy anything.  The final responsibility will ultimately fall right where it belongs ... on the boys and girls that made these babies, and on all of their Parents.

  4. Thank the liberals for that one!

  5. If you only knew the story behind the story, but I guess you are content to just ramble on with out knowing much of what was going on behind the scenes.I will not bother to confuse with any facts, because you have done such a wonderful job of making an asterisk of yourself up to this point, I feel it would be better to let you continue on your blissful trip of ignorance.

  6. You know, you have to wonder where these girls' parents are.  Usually, teens that want to have children feel neglected, and want to have a baby so that it will unconditionally love THEM.  Unfortunately, in the case of an infant it should be the other way around.

  7. Yes, we are doomed, because that means that today's parents are taking less and less responsiblities for the upbringing of thier children and clearly not spending enough "quality time" with them when they need it the most.

When I saw this on the news this morning, I really didn't know what the h**l to think.  Than my teenage daughter and her best friend who has been spending a lot of time at our house this summer immediatley said, "Where were the parents?"  I was only walking thru the room at the time, but it was an eye opener for me, that no matter how they ***** and groan about not getting to go here or there, or go get to do this, at the same time, they want, and think that we should be there no matter what.

This is a reflection on how we are raising our families in today's world.  Educate all you want, but if the kids aren't finding what they need at home, they are obviously going to look for a substitute elsewhere.

  8. Why blame those people, the liberals and the education system. It lies in the parents and the students' failures. As to how to remedy the situation, I don't know - but blaming outside forces rarely helps. No, we're not doomed - most of us aren't.
