Hampshire smashed a tally of 104 runs for two on the second day of the four-day match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gloucestershire-c785, and now trail by 167 runs with eight wickets in hand at County Ground, Bristol.
Gloucestershire resumed the day from an overnight tally of 265 for eight in their first innings, with RG Coughtrie on 24 and DA Payne on four.
The morning brought bad luck for the batting side, as with a tally of 267, they lost the services of Coughtrie, who perished after adding just two runs to his overall score.

From Hampshire, Ali was the top bowler with three wickets to his name, backed by JA Tomlinson and DJ Balcombe with two wickets.
After restricting their opponents on a mediocre tally, Hampshire needed a staggering start to their innings in order to take lead in the four-day game.
However, they had an unfavourable start to their innings by losing their first wicket with only nine runs on the board.
Skipper, JHK Adams, who had come to open the innings became the first victim of Gloucestershire after only nine runs. McKenzie was then joined by BM Shafayat as the two initiated a rebuild phase to rattle the bowling side.
The batsmen exhibited potential by smacking some fine shots across the field to give Gloucestershire a run for their money.
Finally after conceding 88 runs, the fielding side made a comeback by grabbing the wicket of Shafayat, who was caught by Nicol off BAC Howell after scoring 20 runs off 51 balls.
