Gearing up for their upcoming 5-match ODI series against England, the South Africans claimed a 3-wicket victory over Gloucestershire during their tour match, played at the County Ground in Bristol on August 22.

over to take Nicol out of the game.

and David Payne’s (10-0-53-2) efforts eventually went in vain.

racking up an individual total of 41, in addition to teaming up with McLaren (38) for a 67-run 5th-wicket stand, which brought their team total up to  185.
McLaren was caught out by Housego off Fuller, but coming in at number 7 Parnell contributed another 41. He was the last batsman to be dismissed, by Bopara in the 48th over, after which Peterson (10*) and Tsolekile (4*) got the team over the finishing
line, reaching 262 at the expense of 7 wickets.
