Your choice, gloves give more sensitivity to your poles and better dexterity with your hands. When the temperature goes down, mittens are warmer, also some mittens have a pocket in them for hand warmer packs.

Depends, mittens are warmer because your fingers give off heat to each other, but you have more freedom with gloves.  I personally like gloves more because adjusting things like your helmet, jacket, etc. is more annoying with mittens.

Mittens work great. Ive skied since i was 3 (15 now) and all this time i had no idea that mittens really do make a difference. I have these white dakine ones amazing!

You should wear gloves. you should not wear mittens first because you dont get to move your fingers as much and that personally drives me crazy and second because if you are a guy who was a teen you would look really funny

Defo gloves as you won't really be able to hold your ski's properly with mittens on lol and you don't want any damage done to you while you are skiing or snowboarding. Wearing gloves will be th best that way you will be able to have a good grap on anything you need to hold.

Mittens! i've had experience with both, and mittens are waaay cuter, and they keep your hands waaay warmer! oh, and also, if you are looking for warm hands, you can go to Wal-Mart and get these handwarmer things that are in a plastic, vaacum sealed thing, and when you open it, and they are exposed to air, they warm up. They usually last for like 10 hours. hope this helps, and have fun!

Gloves by far. You can't do anything in mittens. If the gloves fit right, you can do a lot of things surprisingly.
