Question:

Glow in the dark "soft spot"?

The strangest thing happened while our family went to play "Glow in the Dark Mini Golf". Not only did our white shirts and shoelaces glow, but the top of my 6-month old son's head glowed also! Not the entire top of his head, but just where his soft spot is. I know a substance needs to have phosphors in order to glow, but I don't know why his head glowed. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

  1. SOME PHOSPHOROUS PARTICLES MUST HAVE FALLEN FROM SOME WHERE?

  2. Our bones are full of phosphates. It is possible that the softer spot of an infant's head since it has not yet calcified might have a high enough ratio of phosphates to give off a "glow".

  3. how are you
