Glowing orb in this picture? Help Please!?

Three of my friends and I were goofing around in my basement and I took this picture, right next to the girl with the goofy pose is a bright white orb...not sure what to think. Can you see all the other orbs too? Theres a ton of them. But that one is super visible. My house is under 30 years old, and no one ever died in it, It was previously owned by a summer family, as I live near the Jersey Shore. So there wasnt any permanent residents until my family, just that one family that used it strictly in the summer. What does this mean??

I think it came out of that girls nose. But if not you will see everything in your dreams tonight. WE ARE COMING TO GET YOU MARGERET!

It could be dust particles floating in the air that happened to be at just the right angle to reflect the flash back into the lens.  It could be an error in the film or mistake in the digital recording if you were using a digital camera.  It could be a wandering spirit that has taken up residence in your basement.  Who knows?  If you haven't noticed any other odd things going on in that house, I wouldn't be too concerned.

I had just posted a question about orbs in my house to see what ppl would say! But usually orbs are from dust and the light as the camera shutter goes off, but then some are linked to supernatural occurences.Mine are diamond shaped, but I heard the brighter orbs can be considered the real ones!

okay.. usually orbs can be easily dismissed. Since you took a picture in a basement, whether your house is 30 years old or 300 years old, basements are still dusty.

Orbs are generally a bug, or a piece of dust, that reflect the light from the flash. In your picture I would say all the other orbs look to me like flash. The main 'orb' in question seems rather bright and not as easily dismissable as the rest. I did catch my own 'orb' that looked really similar to yours and it seemed to leave the room, and come back in later and go up to my friends hand, which was really weird, but most ghost "experts" still would have told me it was a bug. So, unless you catch some glowing bright light without any flash on in the dark, its really hard to label it as a "ghost".

Coincidentally I saw a TV program with Jane Goodman recently dicussing just these orbs. Taken with a digital camera, or a cellphone.  They work differently from ordinary negative photo's.  4 girls, all early teens, goofing around. Must have been one, of at least 6, guardian angels.  Or an elve, or a spirit, or a guide. But that it was from the other side..... I'm convinced.

Keep the photo.... there are societies that collect them.
