Glushakov blasts Bilic and rules out potential move to Spartak from Lokomotiv Moscow – Football news
Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-Glushakov-c10855, has blasted Slaven Bilic following the Russian Premier League club’s below par campaign last term. The 26-year-old, meanwhile, ruled out a potential move to Spartak Moscow this summer.
“The coach introduced us some exercises but I guess they were not good enough. And I cannot explain the team’s playing style under Bilic. I have a respect for all my previous coaches. I have complemented every coach in my old interviews because they all
have taught me something. Bilic is a decent man but not a good coach. With all due respect, I can say that he did not teach me something new in terms of tactics and techniques. This is the first coach who failed to teach me anything. This is a professional
response and it's nothing personal,” the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 player was quoted as saying.
Lokomotiv finished ninth on the league table, one point ahead tenth placed FC Krasnodar and five points behind seventh placed Dynamo Moscow last term courtesy to their weak performances under Bilic.
Bilic, who joined the Moscow-based club after reportedly snubbing a chance to return to English Premier League last year, has been sacked after the former West Ham United man failed to help the Russian outfit qualify for Europe last term.
Glushakov said that he did not learn anything new from the Croatian tactician, who has been successful in implementing his strategies and techniques at Lokomotiv stadium from day one.
The Russian International lamented Lokomotiv’s below par campaign, saying that he cannot understand why they fail to claim a decent spot on the league table at the end of the season despite having so many good players in the team.
Speaking on a potential move to Spartak this summer, Glushakov denied the rumours and speculations after saying that he is not going up to give up his dreams to win trophies at the Moscow-based club.
Glushakov has been linked with a move to Spartak and Zenit St. Petersburg this summer with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti and Valery Karpin looks keen to add creativity to the midfield department.
