Glycoproteins in prokaryotes? "non-existent??"?

In my lecture notes under a list of data about glycoproteins there is a bulletpoint from the lecturer saying "not prokaryotes". I googled this but it seems that glycoproteins do exist in prokaryotes. What is he talking about?

  1. i dont know what is he talking about but glyco proteins do exist in prokaryotes especially in bacteria.
