Go All The Way to race all the way in the Ross Golf Course Novice Chase
Go All The Way is the most celebrated entry for the Ross Golf Course Novice Chase that has gathered five four-year and above contestants. The two mile, four furlong and 120 yard race will be hosted by Killarney on Thursday, 30th August. The prize money set for the race is €7,935.
The seven-year-old Irish bay gelding has been racing since 2010 but it was recently during the current season that he was able to post the first success of the career. The Irish gelding tried his luck at racing just once during 2010 and then twice in the following season.
The J. T. Dreaper trained raced four times during the new season. He kick started the season with a fifth position in the I.N.H Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Maiden Hurdle on 9th February, 2012 at Thurles.
Mini Vic won the race by defeating the joint favourite, Perfect Gentleman, by the margin of ¾ of a length with jockey, Declan Bates, onboard.
Go All The Way was entered as the joint favourite and became the mount for the rider, A. E. Lynch.
Milan’s bay gelding found himself lucky in the very next outing of the season as he won the Dunsany Maiden Hurdle on 18th March, 2012 at Navan over two miles and four furlongs.
This time riding with, A. E. Lynch, got the seven-year-old out of, Kings Rose, to win by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths and set Rear View, as the runner-up.
The favourite entry of the race, King Of The Refs, ended third in the field of eight.
The impressive performance of the Irish bay gelding in the maiden hurdle got him an entry in the Grade 2 John Smith’s Mersey Novices’ Hurdle on 14th April, 2012 at Aintree over two miles and four furlongs.
He ended sixth as the race was bagged by the favourite entry, Simonsig, who led by good fifteen lengths.
The Brian Gleeson bred had the most recent visit to the winner’s enclosure in the John Buckley Auctioneers Beginners Chase on 18th July, 2012 at Killarney over two miles and 4 ½ furlongs.
The success at the same race just through the last outing leaves Go All The Way with no excuse to miss the race.
