Go Go Sonic proved to be a real go getter, winning the Nottingham Produce Stakes Final
The Final round of the Grade OR race rewarded the handsome prize money to the victorious hound Go Gol Sonic. The hound proved to be the real go getter in the Nottingham Produce Stakes Final, being placed in the limelight after he claimed the £15,000 purse.
The black hound, Go Go Sonic, was proclaimed the winner in the previous round as well, giving a tough competition to the most ideal hound of the chase, Jazz Apollo.
Trainer P Sallis’s champ impressively covered the 500 meters distance by vanquishing his tough contenders, who were either placed in with better odds or were famous for their previous victories.
Go Go Sonic was sent in the combat with 4/1 odds, not an ideal hound, but the two-year-old showed off his talent and proved himself as the best racer.
Wearing white and black jacket with a red number printed over it, Go Go Sonic dashed through trap 6, in desire to give a hit.
The main reason behind his victorious chase was his inspiring early pace, that helped him dash all the way along the trail. His swift and speedy chase placed him at the pointer position.
Sustaining the lead Go Go Sonic surged through the track and soon accomplished in crossing the wire and winning the purse for P Sallis.
Besides the winner of the show, P Sallis was expecting to see an impressive performance from his other entree, Mark My Words.
The black dog, placed in the chase with 3/1 odds, would have surprised his trainer by giving a hit, but his initial pace was not fast enough to compete with the winner.
The trap 5 racer took 30.33 seconds to finish as the runner-up for trainer P Sallis.
As the combat started off all eyes were on the favourite of the race, Jazz Apollo, who previously managed to finish second for trainer M Wallis.
The trap 2 racer, with 9/4 odds, unfortunately finished fourth and lost the chance to enjoy the thrill of victory.
The obstructions and hinderances during his chase became a major setback for the young hound to perform well in pursuit of the purse.
While proceeding through the third bend, Jazz Apollo got baulked and then stumbled, denying him the opportunity to give his best.
It took him 30.77 seconds to wrap up his quest for the purse of £15,000.
The victorious hound, Go Go Sonic, made trainer P Sallis proud with his eye catching performance. His triumph helped him take the mouth watering prize money home to celebrate his victory in the Nottingham Produce Stakes with his trainer.
