  1. AGREE!

  2. It won't happen because people are bigger now. Heavyweight back then are really cruiser weight. We don't need too many weight division but at least 10 instead of 8.

  3. Yes indeed

    Heavyweight

    Light heavyweight

    Middleweight

    Welterweight

    Lightweight

    Bantamweight

    Featherweight

    Flyweight

  4. Gannoway has the right idea. We may have to many weight classes but they are way to heavily slanted toward the lighter weights. The average adult man is hovering around 200 pounds. It seems silly to me to have so many weight classes at the lighter weights when lets face it they just don`t do as much damage as they do at the heavier weight classes.

  5. Absolutly, these alphabet titles have to go if boxing wants to rebuild itself. And yes eliminate the jr and super divisions. Who cares if guys cant make weight, tough **** sherlock, stay at your weight class.

  6. Weight classes are absured, especially in the lowerweights. Difference between weight classes is 4-6 pounds. That's absured.

What makes me laugh even more his how all these fighters brag about all the weight classes they won titales in. Well considering that there are so many titals and so many weight classes, that is not a big accomplishment anymore.

What is an accomplishment is Sugar Ray Robinson, who started off as a lightweight, become the welterweight champ, then the middleweight champ, and fighting a light heavy.
