  1. On A 24 hour clock, we would appear at around a minute before midnight. tick-tock. M.

  2. Earth is 4,500,000,000 years old.

    Humans have been  about for 150,000 years.

    So humans have been around for about 0.003% of the earth's life.

    12x60= 720 seconds on a 12hr clock

    0.003% of 720= 0.024 seconds ( a quarter of a thenth of a second)

  3. By first humans, I'm assuming first hominids -- not our species.  So, if you want to set the age of the earth at 12 hours, then Australopithecus appeared about 28 to 30 seconds ago.  The first homo sapiens, (our species), emerged about 2.4 seconds ago.

    Edit: Sorry, I wrote 22-25 seconds before.  Must've hit a wrong button.  Or two.  It's 28-30.

  4. It's the last 3 seconds.

  5. Try askin how old is the earth ? and for how long have people been living on the earth ? .. then im sure u can work out a percentage then somehow work that into how many seconds it would represent on the clock ! If i was good at maths id give it a go for you .. If you do go that far congrates and id be interested in known the answer  :)
