Go snowboarding and hit the beach?

I am looking for a place where I can vacation with my woman to go snowboarding and go to a nice warm beach in the same week, I saw an add like this for japan but I am not sure if they were for two different seasons or what... I am looking for a nice place to go on vacation with my woman where we can enjoy the best of both worlds, Does anyone know of anywhere in the world we could go where we could go snowboarding/skiing one day and be at the beach the next day in nice warm weather? This sounds far fetched but hey I don't know... please any help would be appreciated.... A cruise would be considered... 10 pts to best answer

NEW ZEALAND.

another good choice: hit up Blackcomb mountain the first week of june (yeah it's still open even though whistler is closed)

then roll into Vancouver (one of the nicest cities in the world minus one street) and even pop over to TOFINO on the island for some "canadian tropic"

then my friend you have to try Antalya Turkey...you can snow bording up the mountain and go down and swim in the sean...seriously...two season at the same time...its wonderful up there.5 star hotel and holiday villages etc....

Vancouver, Canadas offers 3 local mountains (all 30-60mins from downtown) plus Whistler (2 hours) which are all excellent for skiing/boarding.

PLUS

Vancouver also has some lovely beaches - not quite tropical white sands, but lovely nonetheless.

Obviously winter (Nov - Mar) is the peak season for the snow whilst the summer (May - Sept) is the peak season for the beach, but as Whistler often has snow right up until August, you may be able to find a cross over period.

Vancouver also offers a great seawall walk, bars and restaurants, Granville Island food market which is incredible, shopping, science museum, history, local tours and more - a perfect city break.
