I was reformatting my PC's hard drive. The reformatting process was not too long when a blue screen with white text appeared which said check the hard drive configuation, check any updated drivers and run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption then re start the PC.

I re-started my PC and while booting hold down the F8 key in order to go to the DOS command prompt so that I could check the hard drive if it is corrupted. Unfortunately, it did not work, instead a message appears which said NTDLR is missing press control alt delete to restart. I did it but the same thing was happened.

Could anybody give me advice regarding this problem? Thank you very much.
