Goa Getta confident about the ladbrokes.com 416
Competing due to the lure of the £200 prize money of the Grade OR ladbrokes.com 416 are, Bower William, Andlyns Asabat, Goa Getta, Lodgeview Rikijo, Yah Muppet and Clonlost Michael. They will race over 416 metres flat at Monmore on Saturday, 15th December. Enjoying the advantage that comes with the red trap is the two-year-old, Bower William. The only entry for whom the experience will be new is the fourth trap, Lodgeview Rikijo.
Backed by 2 to 1 odds is the third trap for tonight, Goa Getta. The last three outings at the open level for the Chris Allsopp trained reflected fluctuations in the form, but then again he is the only one who has set a certain rank base as compared to the rest of the line-up.
The first and then the second position are commendable with the exception of the fourth down low that he faced in the very recent outing.
Goa Getta won the second division of the ladbrokes.com 416 on 24th November, 2012 at Monmore over 416 metres.
The fourth trap was quick to race away, secure ground while staying on the rail end and taking charge of the second half of the track distance, he made it to the other end of the wire in 24.95 seconds.
Losing the race by 1 ½ lengths was the sixth trap, Dreams Of Glory.
The favourite entry of the race, Kilmalady Biffo, who broke from the fifth trap, ended fourth.
Hades Rocket’s son then qualified as the runner-up in the second heat of the Lawrence Jones Memorial Festival 416 on 3rd December, 2012 at Monmore over 416 metres.
Getting crowded when racing in the second position did not work in the favour of the third trap, Goa Getta. The crowding left him envying the first position that was 2 ¼ lengths away and was taken by the second stall, Lil Risky, in 24.53 seconds.
The last time that the three-year-old out of, Blue Highview, lost the race was due to getting crowded when catching up on the distance for the wire from the third location. The race once again was won by, Lil Risky.
