Question:

Goa holiday prices?

Me and my boyfriend are looking to go go goa on Feb 16th ( in a month). Prices at the moment are a bit high - are they likely to come down at all the closer you get to the departure date? Was thinking this could be a possibility as people can't just go last minute as they have to get a visa?

Any help appreciated.

  1. If you want a lovely family run guest house in the country side which offers cottage rooms with the standards of a starred hotel at good rates (Rs. 1500/- or about 19 Pounds per night which includes breakfast) then you can check out "Cancio's House"

    www.cancios.spaces.live.com

Don't worry too much about the malaria tablets part. A lot of tourists that go to Goa don't bother with them as many of them land up with side effects such as "Deli Belly".

Go ahead and get your visa as you may / may not have a last minute problem in getting it quick this year.....

  2. I want to suggest you following sites which offers Goa Packages on very affordable prices:

    http://www.goa-beaches.com/

    http://www.tsiindia.com/goa.html

    http://www.indiaholidaypackages.com/beac...

    Have a good holidays

  3. We are off again on thursday for 4 weeks,we go every jan,i always book soon as we get back from there for following yr,i dont think the prices change really unless you can get lucky on the net,the cheapest i have ever found is direct holidays,we pay 680 pound for 4 wks b/b in a 2*,this year the ticlo hotel centre of calangute,so try them good luck, you can get malarone maleria tabs with a script from docs take 1 day before you go and 1 every day and then 1 week after you arrive home they are dear though,we paid 80 pound for 36,so would be cheaper for 2 wks good look just keep looking on the net they will turn up,have fun

  4. you have to get a visa, it also needs to be valid for 6 weeks before you go there aswell i believe.  We also have injections before we go there aswell, just phone your doctor and they will tell you what you need.

also you really need to start taking anti-malaria tablets 1 week before you go.

We went to goa last year (calangute) and are going again in march and we met people there and they also booked last minute and the price was actually the same as when we booked it, but it could be the different this year, who knows!!
