Goa resumed play on the final day with SK Kamat and RS Belekar after they ended Monday by posting 11 runs without any loss in their second innings.
However, it was not too long before this pair was separated by Ahmed, who dismissed Kamat after the batsman had amassed 11 runs off 53 deliveries.
RS Belekar and AS Desai then avoided a batting collapse, as they took the score to 106 runs. It was imperative for the fielding side to bring an end to this partnership before letting things slip out of their hands.
Finally, Syed Mohammad bowled a superb delivery, hitting timber and sending Belekar back. The batsman had bolstered a phenomenal knock of 57 runs before finding his way off the field.
