After watching Services dominate their opponents while batting first they were a bit disappointing in the field, where they let Goa clobber 381 runs in reply to their first innings score of 473.

Skipper S Chatarjee and AH Gupta then forged a potent partnership by taking the score to 43 before Services suffered the loss of their second wicket when Chatarjee, was caught by SA Asnodkar, off Pinto after smashing 13 runs.
AH Gupta (62) and SR Swain (18) then prevented the bowling side from taking anymore wickets as they ended the day by posting 99 runs on the board.
Services’ Yashpal Singh was the most impressive batsman in the match as he smashed 166 runs in the first innings.
