Goalie Chest & Arm Equipment Sizing, Help?

I have a couple questions about some equipment sizing. How do Intermediate sizes compare to senior sizes? What I mean by that is what does an INTER. Large equal in a senior size? INTER. X-Large equal to in senior? etc... Also, how do junior sizes compare to senior sizes? Junior L equals what in a senior size?

I obviously know senior is bigger then the rest, but I dont really want to buy a senior small for $400 or so, when a intermediate or junior large is the same fit. please answer and thanks for your time

  1. I think it's hockeymonkey.com has a sizing chart and explanations on it.  We came across it by doing a search for goalie equipment and the explanation was really easy to understand.  Hope that helps.

  2. From my experience as a goalie, Int. L would be about the same as a Sr. small/medium. Junior L would be just a little bit smaller than Adult Small.

In my case (usually wearing L t-shirts) I can fit into an adult Medium goalie c/a but opted for the L in case I drink too much while at college.

But yeah, consult with hockey websites like goaliemonkey and such. Try them on locally if at all possible for fitting purposes even if you buy it elsewhere.
