Goalkeeper Florian Fromlowitz shakes hands with MSV Duisburg – Bundesliga News
Former Hannover goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florian-Fromlowitz-c13850, had a troublesome 2010/11 season and has joined 2. Bundesliga side, MSV Duisburg, as a free agent. The German ran out of contract with Hannover with the conclusion of the 2010/11 campaign and immediately agreed
terms with Duisburg for two years.
Florian himself was pleased to be a part of the Zebras for the upcoming season and was sure of his first team chances. He believed that playing for Duisburg would stand him a better opportunity to make his way into the German national line-up for which he
is yet to play. Florian was a regular part of the Hannover line-up until his place was captured by the fellow German, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ron-Robert-Zieler-c31761. Since then, the shot-stopper has had trouble with the Hannover officials and was finally able to move out as soon as his
contract with the Reds came to an end.
Duisburg already have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Yelldell, who could guard the net but Fromlowitz arrival means that the duo will have to start most of the games on the bench. This move might not be welcomed by the two keepers but the officials
have expressed delight at the capture of the 24-year-old.
The German clearly stated that he wants to keep perfect relations with each and every player in the team and doesn’t really intend to snatch anyone’s place. He mentioned that the main reason of switching was the increasing tension between him and the Hannover
officials and that is what prompted him not to sign a new deal with the club.
The youngster started his playing career with 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2005 and represented both the second string and the first team during his three-year stay. He then moved to the Reds in 2008 and managed 58 league appearances before signing a two-year
deal with the Zebras.
The shot-stopper is yet to start a game for the German national side but has already represented them at the U-16 and U-21 levels.
