Goals and Dreams?

Question

I'm 15 and I want to be a rockstar when I grow up

but my parents say that I should have a reasonable career

I know that they want me to have a secure job and life but

i think that they are holding me back on my dreams I mean Miley Cyrus is 15 and she is making millions i want to do that too except with writing metal and hard rock riffs how should I tell them this and if so how can i achieve my goals

if you can give me a good answer that will help a lot

First of all Miley Cyrus' dad is a  famous countrymusic singer. She has been acting since the age of 9 as well. Try talking to your parents, but if it does not work out then join your own band at your school or something. Keep yourself focued with singing most of them , like taking singing lessons ( if it works) and joining the choir at your school. Once you turn 18, you could focus on you career all by yourself.
