Goat killing and horse

Question

as i might of mentioned before in a question earlier, about a goat getting killed on a farm at night and ripped to pieces, found paw prints and couldn't be identified and claw marks on fence ( in the UK) and i wondered what it was it was. I forgot to mention a horse of medium size (not a small one) got attacked on tis leg and eventually died.i would like to know what it was. All answers are appreciated and thanks for your ideas

i think in scotland there are wild cats well iknow this but i think theyw ere thinking of realising things like wolves back into the ild as  they needed to control the poplation of something
