God as a word, I do not think has any signifigance. Everyone says oh my god or godd, why me? The spiritual belief is the one thing that has meaning. If you believe that the entity of god is there, then you have something that has meaning. The belief of it gives comfort and guidance to people who need it the most. I would not really know this because I do not believe in god, but I believe that there is something leading our fates. I believe that there is something beyond the eye that is guiding us towards something bigger.
